Winery location: The winery is located high on a northwest facing slope mid-valley in Valle de Guadalupe, however no grapes are estate sourced.

Region and grape source: All grapes are purchased from select sites in Valleys of Guadalupe, San Vicente, and Ojos Negros.   

Annual Production: 900 cases

Vineyard location, elevation and grape varieties:

• Valle de Guadalupe - 900 ft - (Nebbiolo, Petit Syrah and Brunello)

• Valle de Ojos Negros - 3,500 ft - (75 + year old Sangiovese and Nebbiolo)  

• Valle de San Vicente - 50 ft - (Cabernet Sauvignon, Barbera and Syrah)

Other notes: Bodegas Cieli's 2017 Ore Quatro Vini and 2017 Vintner Select both just won bronze medals at the prestigious annual blind tasting competition of the Renaud Society. 

Ron is a one man show who prides himself in making wines with a bold expression, big tannin, and yet balance of fruit that makes them accessible in their youth. Like the rest of the wineries we work with Ron's focus is on starting from the best grapes and making as few corrections as possible, if any after harvest.
